Sr. Digital Analytics Specialist

The Sr. Digital Analytics Specialist is a crucial role within the Marketing organization.  This role works with the Digital Capabilities and User Experience teams to measure and analyze the effectiveness of new digital capabilities for the Card Services line of business.  The Sr. Digital Analytics Specialist will work with our internal stakeholders to maximize website and mobile app performance. They will support website and mobile app reporting strategies to track against digital KPI’s for presentation to key internal stakeholders. In addition to implementing and influencing our digital analytics best practices, the Sr. Digital Analytics Specialist is also responsible for working closely with our platform partners to ensure holistic analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the development and ongoing enhancement of our digital analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics).
  • Manages vendor/data provider/partner relationships as it relates to assigned capabilities.
  • Collaborates on roadmap development for digital analytics reporting and platform upgrades.
  • Executes on digital analytics best practices contributing to the growth of the business.
  • Monitors KPI’s for brand partner websites and native apps in conjunction with internal stakeholders.
  • Implements web tagging and mobile analytics strategies.
  • Runs regular reporting while working to constantly improve existing reporting templates.
  • Produces regular assessments of on-site performance, customer traffic, conversion and customer satisfaction.
  • Presents findings to key stakeholders.
  • Partners with various cross-functional teams throughout the organization to help analyze online marketing strategies and make recommendations to enhance their performance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in a quantitative field from a 4-year program.
  • 3 – 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, preferably retail and/or ecommerce.
  • 3+ years of experience with web analytics reporting tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
  • Experience with data analysis tools, stats packages (Excel, Access, SPSS, SAS, R, Tableau).
  • Strong Understanding of the Internet, online shopping, web design/layout and navigation.
  • Working knowledge of core web development technologies (HTML, JS, CSS).
  • Familiarity w/ relational databases and BI tools (SQL).

Additional Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience with large scale, high traffic transaction-based websites and mobile applications.
  • Experience with web based measurement and/or analytical tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).

SEO Specialist

Develops and drives the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) initiatives within the organization and partners with internal and external teams to achieve results. Provides SEO expertise/training to relevant teams and cultivates best practice processes.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following):

1. Develops SEO strategies and oversees the day-to-day functioning of SEO across digital initiatives.

2. Creates new on-site content and provides SEO best practice training to copywriters, content teams and development

teams.

3. Partners cross-functionally with Content and Social teams to devise methods to distribute, share and syndicate

relevant content.

4. Pro-actively researches SEO issues, audits sites and formulates solutions on an on-going basis to offer recommendations for improving performance.

5. Develops initial and ongoing reporting for organic search performance including weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports and dashboards.

6. Conducts keyword research to define target keywords; identifies growth areas in site structure, keyword selection, content development and on-page optimization.

7. Partners cross-functionally with Marketing and IT to ensure the use of SEO best practices for new and on-going projects/development.

8. Provides SEO expertise/training for keyword research, reporting, on-page optimization, social media, local search, image and video optimization, digital asset optimization and mobile search to relevant digital marketing teams.

9. Maintains awareness of the latest SEO developments and search engine trends to ensure top website ranking and identify new opportunities.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field required.

2. Minimum of two years of experience in an SEO role required.

3. Experience with link-building initiatives required.

4. Experience with CMS platforms preferred.

5. Demonstrable detailed understanding of SEO principles and guidelines required.

The magazine marketing team is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to drive marketing strategy for Highlights Magazines. This is a leadership role with responsibility for managing a digital marketing budget and delivering aggressive sales growth for the magazine business. This individual partners with and leads internal, cross-functional support teams in the creation of successful marketing campaigns that drive growth and profitability of our magazines.
