Code of Conduct

Be kind to others. Do not insult or put down others. Behave professionally. Remember that harassment and sexist, racist, or exclusionary “jokes” are not appropriate for CBUSDAW.

All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience including people of many different backgrounds. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate.

CBUSDAW is dedicated to providing a harassment-free community for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, and expression, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of community members in any form.

Thank you for helping make this a welcoming, friendly community for all.

We expect all attendees, speakers, and organizers to abide by these guidelines.

We understand that these guidelines are not comprehensive, nor are they intended to be. We depend upon the community itself to help us identify and root out bad behavior.

If you have experienced this kind of behavior either directed toward yourself or others, please report it to us so we can take action. You may either contact a member of the organizing team or fill out our bad conduct reporting form which can be done anonymously.

Enforcement “action” may involve asking participants to leave or other remedies, but please be assured that we take all reports very seriously.
