Customer Advocacy Research & Insights Statistical Analyst, Sr. (job number 21797):

Purpose of the Role: The Customer Advocacy Research & Insights Statistical Analyst will serve as the lead statistician for the Research & Insights function, setting the direction and standards for statistical analyses conducted by the Research & Insights team at Huntington. This individual will conduct advanced statistical analyses and modeling on customer, colleague and prospect feedback captured from research, complaints and other information sources; identify process improvement areas for the Research & Insights team; and automate analysis and other key processes to improve department efficiencies. This Sr. Analyst will also be responsible for developing a training program for our Analysts and Research Managers, and conducting the statistical analysis training to develop the team’s analysis skills. In addition, this person would work closely with the Research & Insight Managers on advanced analysis for their projects.

Responsibilities:

Conduct advanced statistical analysis (including segmentation, key driver analysis, conjoint, discrete choice and MaxDiff). Analyze research results for studies involving advanced analytics, to include report writing and presentation of the findings to our business stakeholders
Create SPSS and other key software training courses for analysts; and train and mentor analysts on software and analytical techniques to improve their effectiveness
Establish analysis standards for the Customer Advocacy Team, and set the direction for analysis and reporting of results involving advanced statistics
Identify process efficiencies that can be gained by automating repetitive tasks/processes used in analysis and reporting of data (research and complaint data), and lead these process improvement initiatives

Basic Requirements:

Masters or PhD in Statistics, Market Research, Psychology or other related program with statistics coursework
At least 7 years of work experience in Research, Statistical Analysis, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

Proactive, positive attitude, self-starter approach
Experience providing statistical analysis and advanced analytics for Consumer and B2B Studies
SQL data base experience is required
Strong written and oral presentation skills
Experience with Microsoft Office-Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required
Experience with statistical software is required (e.g. SPSS, SAS, Minitab, R)
Experience with a CX platform and/or Survey Research Platforms (e.g., MaritzCX, Qualtrics)
(Preferred) Experience accessing large data sets stored in various formats
Experience in creating dashboards is a plus
(Preferred) Experience with object-oriented languages (Java, C++, Python, PHP, etc.)
Experience with HTML is a plus

Onsite Search Analyst

General Summary: The Onsite Search Analyst will be responsible for delivering highly relevant search and product recommendation results for DSW.com customers. The analyst will monitor on-site search and product recommendation activity and develop solutions that make search and recommendation results more relevant across the product catalogue.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Analyze and test the search algorithm to continuously improve quality and relevancy of results
Manage the product recommendation tool to drive upsell/cross-sell, UPT, and conversion
Develop default Endeca search algorithm and refinements to optimize top searches
Weekly analysis of top terms, brands & silhouettes & KPIs (click thru rate, bounce rate)
Manage search facets, boosts, buries, redirects, synonyms, spell correction, etc to give customers relevant search results
Identify & action null searches weekly to ensure relevant product/message is returned
Partner with marketing/content to determine most optimal links & add additional content
Partner with SEO team to ensure top google terms are curated with best results
Manage type ahead search and ensure top terms, brands, and collections are displayed
Regularly perform deep dives of top searches and optimize relevancy of results
Contribute in trend and keyword research to proactively prepare for emerging search terms
Manage the onsite search tool through rule sets to improve search results based on input from merchants as well as insights from search analysis
Executing personalization strategies  through search to provide relevant results based on gender, purchase affinity, and location
Partner with Site Analytics team to report search improvements and findings to cross-functional partners
Develop action plans for merchandising with regards to site content and category hierarchy optimization based on data
Partner with Site Analytics to develop KPIs that measure on-site search/product recommendations success and work daily to improve conversion and click through results
Manage the product recommendation rules and analysis to optimize up-sell
Partner with the Online Merchandising Team to execute divisional product recommendation strategies to maximize demand, conversion, and UPT
Manage the tool & adjust existing product recommendation based upon best practices, analytics, and selling trends

Required Skills and Competencies:

Basic understanding of search concepts:  stemming, automatic phrasing, facets, stop words, sorting, relevance ranking, similar search, spell correction, and auto-suggest

Insights Analyst

The Insights Analyst position will be based in the Newark, Ohio office. He or she will focus most of their time finding insightful trends in the data, and then using those findings to help drive data-driven decisions. This position is for an experienced Director, Ecommerce Site Operations with web/technology expertise who is eager to play an integral role on the Production team at Highlights for Children.
