Manager of Analytics-Safelite Digital

The Manager of Digital Analytics will lead a team that helps to solve challenging problems and boost company growth with applied analytics techniques and business insights. A successful Manager of Digital Analytics will bring their technical background in data analysis and data science together with solid people skills and a robust knowledge of business operations and analytics. This role will require you to lead the team towards objectives, understand and drive focus on business priorities, provide guidance and mentorship on data infrastructure and science.

  • Advise on predictive and machine learning models, build strong business relationships, and help galvanize Safelite’s data-driven culture
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and define, validate, and measure core performance metrics
  • Focus on relationship-building with various stakeholders across the organization to drive adoption of self-service analytics tools and complex/predictive models

Primary Function / Primary Goals / Objectives:

Responsible for providing advanced analytics across pediatric nutrition division, supporting marketing objectives for acquisition, retention, and profitability by identifying, designing, and implementing advanced analytical studies utilizing techniques such as statistical and algorithmic modeling.

 

Requirements:

3-5 years of hands-on experience required in statistical methods related to data mining, business analysis, design and design of experiments, and regression (logistic, Bayesian, hierarchical, etc.)

Statistical programming (e.g., R, SPSS) and database querying (e.g., SQL) required.
Expertise required of modeling tools, transactional data, CRM technologies, and segmentation/targeting strategies using demographic, behavioral, psychographic, economic, and census data.
Marketing mix modeling experience preferred, including media optimization, and using output of models to accurately forecast key performance indicators.
Desktop computing skills and experience using one or more word processing, spreadsheet (e.g., Microsoft Excel) and presentation graphics (e.g., Microsoft Powerpoint) software programs.
Familiar with GIS mapping or data visualization tools, such as MapInfo Professional or Tableau.
Relevant business experience required with demonstrated understating of marketing strategies; experience analyzing business trends within a complex retail distribution system (B2B2C) preferred (retail, financial services, and/or CPG experience)
Relevant functional backgrounds include, Marketing Analysis, Marketing Response Modeling, Financial Modeling, Database Marketing, or Statistical Modeling & Forecasting.
Proven success in presenting complex data to non-technical, senior leaders in an organization.

Responsibilities:

Typical activities and deliverables will include:

The Digital Optimization Analyst will be responsible for web analytics and reporting for Lane Bryant, Catherines and Cacique websites.   This position will evaluate customer shopping behavior and site conversion, and provide reporting and recommendations to internal business partners.  This position will also help drive revenue increases as a member of the experimentation and optimization team.

Duties:

  • Optimization of website through deep-dive analysis and experimentation
