Analytics Consulting: Career Path or Side Hustle?
Join us at Otterbein University in January to start a new year!
IMPORTANT: you will need to print a Temporary Parking Permit and leave it on your dashboard in order to park at the event. See additional details regarding parking at the bottom of this page.
If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be an analytics consultant, have worked with one, or even curiously dreamt about taking your career in that direction, then join us to hear about the journey taken by our very own Cbus local — Elizabeth “Smalls” Eckels. She began her career learning about and running analytics operations on the client-side, then successfully transitioned into the world of contracting & consulting.
You’ll walk away with the practical know-how of what to consider before pursuing consulting, tips on how to attract and interact with clients, and administrative considerations in running your one-person business. Questions are encouraged in this interactive session!
About Our Speaker
I’m Elizabeth Eckels. I founded Bancroft Digital to serve people who love data but struggle to bend it to their will. We help people get more value from analytics tools and talent through the use of our collective knowledge, experience, process, and a hint of pizazz. |
All of our Columbus WAWs are free of charge thanks to the generosity of our sponsors:
Parking Information
In order to park on campus you will need to print a Temporary Parking Permit and place it on your dashboard.
Because the spring semester will have just begun, parking on campus may be somewhat limited. Parking will almost certainly be available at The Point (#2 on the map that is included on the parking permit)—it’s a 13-minute walk across the bridge to Roush Hall (see this map), so plan your arrival time accordingly—or park in Uptown Westerville (public parking lot or find street parking).
