Nothing Says “Analytics” Quite Like a Batting Average

We’re changing things up quite a bit for our July event: no formal topic, a different venue, and maybe even peanuts and Cracker Jack®!

We have a limited number of seats available, so please only register if you genuinely intend to attend. We’ll be asking you to confirm your attendance on Monday, July 7th.

We’re heading to the ballpark—Huntington Park, that is—for a mid-year break in our regular analytics meetup routine!

We’ve got a group of tickets reserved on the 3rd base line (section 21, if you must know), and we’ll be gathering for an evening of counting balls and strikes as the Columbus Clippers take on the Louisville Bats!

We have marked the event as starting at 6:30pm, and the first pitch will be at 7:05.

Attendees will get:

• A seat for the game!
• Some Clippers Cash for vittles and libations
• Excellent conversation with other attendees from our group
• An informal Q&A with some of the Clippers scorekeepers!

Is baseball not really your thing? That’s okay! Come on out, anyway. It’s a great excuse to get a view inside a pretty neat venue.

Like all of our events, this one is free to attend*.

Unlike our usual events, though, we have a limited number of seats available, so please only register if you genuinely intend to attend. We’ll have a waitlist, too, and we’ll be confirming your attendance on Monday, July 7th, when we send out final instructions for getting your ticket at the game and opening up the event to waitlisted folks at that time.
