Bring a Colleague to CbusDAW! Get Free Sh**!

We believe the best way for people to find out about Columbus Data & Analytics Wednesday is by word of mouth from past attendees.

We’re not above greasing the skids to see if we can make that happen a bit more. Here’s how it works:

  1. You pass along1 the details of an upcoming event to your friends and colleagues who have not attended the meetup ever or in a good long while.2
  2. You attend the event with one or more of them.
  3. You get to feel warm and fuzzy inside because you’ve done a good deed by introducing (or reintroducing) someone to the meetup.
  4. You also get to pick from some pretty cool tokens of  our gratitude.

FAQ

What if I bring more than one person?

You get to choose one item for each person you bring up to two people per event. We certainly hope you make it a whole team outing, but we’ve got to have a limit just for logistical and fiscal responsibility reasons.

What are these “cool tokens” of which you speak?

These will likely vary over the course of the year, but a couple of items we’ll definitely have are:

A CbusDAW Commemorative Pint Glass
A $10 gift card to Crimson Cup (we’re a locally driven meetup, after all; we shan’t be promoting the green circle from the Pacific Northwest with this promotion)
A Piwik PRO hoodie

Other choices to come!

Is this a forever program?

Our lawyers advised us to document that, for now, this is a “2024 only” program, subject to be extended beyond that should we choose to do so. But, we’ve got lots of events planned for 2024, and this deal is good for any and all of them!

1 The channel(s) you choose are up to you: tag them in a LinkedIn repost, send them an email, DM them on Slack, record a modern interpretative dance on TikTok. It’s up to you!

2 Someone who has not attended a Data & Analytics Wednesday (née Web Analytics Wednesday) in person since 2020. They can be brand new to the meetup, or they simply can be coming back to the meetup for the first time since some global event pushed us to be virtual only for a while starting in early 2020.
